OUR MISSION

Kid-a-peel, Inc. was born out of my personal experience with reading as a child. When I was young, learning to read was a struggle and the lack of interesting children’s books only complicated matters. As a result, I discovered that the “catching up” process took a tremendous amount of time and effort and, at that point, my hopes and dreams for success in life were somewhat limited.

God has given us all a gift that many of us leave behind because we fail to teach our youth from our experiences and fail to continue learning as adults. We also tend to think that teaching our youth is the responsibility of our schools and teachers. Without the parents, grandparents and others who have influence in our children’s lives, they will have to work twice as hard to catch up and, unfortunately, some never will.

Today, as an adult, I stress the importance of education for all young people. I believe that Kid-a-peel’s products will provide just one channel through which this goal can be accomplished.
